Wildflower Cafe reopens in downtown’s Cathedral District
The Route 66 brunch favorite is back at MODE Tulsa inside the old First Christian Church — seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wildflower Cafe is serving brunch again — this time in downtown’s Cathedral District.
Owner Heather Linville reopened the restaurant at MODE Tulsa, 913 S. Boulder Avenue, in the former chapel of First Christian Church. Soft opening for staff was Wednesday, Sept. 9; regular service started Thursday. Hours are 7 a.m.–3 p.m. daily.
The old East 11th & Peoria room closed in early 2026 after a landlord dispute ended the lease. The Helen, a New York–style breakfast diner, has since opened at that Route 66 corner. Through the gap, Wildflower kept the crew busy with a Philbrook satellite and other work so staff could return together.
Core menu pieces made the move — Wildflower Breakfast, huevos rancheros, banana-bread French toast, crepes, sandwiches, soups, salads — with new plates like chilaquiles, a French dip, and a Reuben. The mismatched mug wall is back too.
MODE’s wider project (coffee/event space in the sanctuary, affordable apartments) is still rolling out. For now, the news for brunch people is simple: Wildflower has a dining room again, and it seats well over a hundred.
