Route 66 Centennial Car Show rolls into Sapulpa’s Tee Pee Drive-In Saturday
The free-to-attend Oklahoma Route 66 Centennial Car Show is Saturday at the historic Tee Pee Drive-In in Sapulpa, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Saturday’s Mother Road tip is in Sapulpa.
The Oklahoma Route 66 Association hosts the Oklahoma Route 66 Centennial Car Show at the Tee Pee Drive-In Theater, 13166 W Ozark Trail, Sapulpa, OK 74066, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. Spectators get in free. The official show page and the Tulsa Flyer weekend roundup both put the field at nearly 300 classic, custom, and modern vehicles. Awards are at 2 p.m.
The show page describes the Tee Pee as a historic Route 66-era drive-in, built in 1949 and opened May 5, 1950.
If you’re entering a car, online registration is $25 and closes at noon Friday, Sept. 25. Day-of walk-up is $30. An additional class is $25 online or $30 the day of, per ok66carshow.com. Overflow parking is listed at the VFW Parking Lot, 1201 W Dewey Ave, Sapulpa.
